mostly quartz and feldspar, or older rocks held together by
one of several types of cement or a fine, muddy matrix. Have
an exotic and rustic appeal that is very alluring and can be
seen gracing numerous edifices of forts and palaces since ages,
Natural sandstone is an extremely hard and tough material. Popular

LIMESTONES
A common sedimentary rock consisting mostly of calcium carbonate,
it is essentially a Dolomite stone. It possesses excellent oil
resistant properties. Compressive strength of Limestone is 30,000-lbs./sq.
inch, which is the highest strength among the available stone
category and can carry a suitable load. Limestone offers a non-slippery
surface that suits for flooring purpose. It can be used in any
atmospheric condition without getting affected. Texture wise
very tough, non water-absorbent, non-slip, non-porous and has
excellent stain removability. Moreover, their resistance to
wear and delimitation is higher than other stones. Popular Indian
limestones are Lime Pink, C. Black, Kota Brown, Kota Blue and
others. Limestone shows high resistance in freezing and thawing
conditions. *Suitable for: As limestone tiles, limestone slabs
in flooring, wall cladding, vanity tops and to pave the floors
of large commercial complexes, hospitals, airports, shopping
malls, railway stations, parks etc.

SLATES
A fine-grained metamorphic rock formed from clays, shale, volcanic
ash, and other fine-grained rocks, that splits into thin, smooth-surfaced
layers, forming an essential building material used at a large
scale in the construction of buildings. Minerals present in
Slate are quartz, sericite, chlorite, some graphite, titanium
oxide, and iron oxides. Slate is commonly found in areas where
shale has been subjected to heat and pressure during mountain
building. Because of its physical characteristics and its cleavage,
slate has been used for a great variety of surfaces in different
forms of construction. *Suitable for: Slate tiles and slate
stones are used for Exterior and Interior Applications such
as wall-cladding, roofing, flooring etc.

MARBLES
A hard crystalline metamorphic rock that takes a high polish;
It was once limestone, but over time, the combination of intense
heat and pressure caused the limestone to re-crystallize. Foreign
substances often enter the stone during this process, creating
an infinite variety of colors, asters, and veining. The marbles,
which are highly durable and resistant to water and grease are
available in various colors and surface textures. Marble is
a lot like snowflakes; no two pieces are exactly alike. Used
for sculpture and as building material *Suitable for: It is
extensively used in residential applications for floorings,
counter tops, fireplace facings, ornamental furnishings and
a host of other applications.

resistant and scratch resistant. Petrographically, they are
either magmatic or metamorphic rocks. Their crystalline texture
and large variety of beautiful colors makes them the favorite
stone for a host of applications. Natural granite stone is typically
hardest of the dimensional stones and can effectively withstand
the vagaries of nature. Natural granite is bold, luxurious and
sophisticated, ideal for commercial & residential applications.
